Pastors Vance and Daphne Linholm

The Linholms' journey is one rooted in a lifelong pursuit of God. From Pastor Vance’s early days at Wildwood Chapel in Columbiana to their years together at Southeastern University, their heart for ministry has only grown.

After years of serving as public school teachers, a principal, and children’s pastors in Florida—and even planting a vibrant Christian school for families experiencing trauma—God began a new chapter. In 2022, He led them back home to Alabama.

As they looked at the vibrant energy of Jacksonville—home to over 10,000 students and thousands of young families—the vision for Apex Assembly was born. They saw a need for a Spirit-filled, Pentecostal home where people don’t just attend a service, but truly belong to a family.

Vance and Daphne are so excited to plant roots here and lead people to the highest point of love, faith, and impact.
